My Mission...

A few years ago I switched gears as an Artist. I began to follow a particularly stylistic form of Art called Abstract Expressionism. The Artist I most admire from the movement is a second generation ABEX (Abstract Expressionist) named Richard Diebenkorn. Some time goes on and I feel I have a handle on the style and I sit down with a trusted friend to review what I had produced. In looking over the works we came up with the thought of what this style would look like as a Comic Book. So I transitioned my ABEX style to a Comic Book grid and dug out all of my favorite Comic books; especially those of Conan The Barbarian drawn by John Buscema.

This is my mission; to fuse in a Comic Book format a story in an abstract expressionistic way.
